The practice of supplementing existing Record Documents of new buildings with the use of a Field Verification as-built, has in recent years become a normal procedure for many property management /construction companies. Suites are commonly built to tenant specifications using the designer and contractor of their choosing. On completion of construction, the suite is measured for the as-built floor plan and area certificate. All the interior walls, plumbing and electrical can be added to the as-built floor plan.
